Moving to another country

Moving to another country

Moving to another district or another city is a joyful event, even if this measure is forced. There you will find a new environment, new acquaintances and new events. But at the same time it is also a great stress. And what if you decided to move to a permanent place of residence in another country? Delight and enthusiasm will quickly recede into the background, giving way to problems associated with this troublesome business: you will have to solve problems with housing, choose a new place of work, arrange children in the garden or school, calculate all expenses and get the maximum amount of information about the features of life on new location. What steps should be taken to leave for another country for permanent residence?

Moving to another country is associated with large monetary costs, problems of establishing a life in a new territory and very often with a language barrier. But still it does not stop many. Why? Everyone has his own reasons for emigration, but statistical studies show that most people leave their homes to improve their quality and living conditions. Someone is looking for a better-paid job or a level of social security, someone wanted to live all year round under the sun, and someone is going after the bride or groom. At the same time, some plan to move thoughtfully, prepare for it for a year, or even more. And someone can push this banal case: nahamili in line for groceries, pulled out a purse in a trolley bus, refused to see a doctor. This is already a matter of mentality. But it also happens that an immigrant is attracted by a simple thirst for change, caused, for example, by a psychological crisis.

Usually a person who decides to move knows exactly what country he wants to leave. However, it is not always easy to immigrate exactly where you want, not always. In addition, different people have different goals. And very much depends on the profession. For example, a builder or an IT specialist will find it much easier to find a job than a philologist.

The list of popular professions includes managerial managers in various fields: from health care, education and advertising to courier services. Personnel management specialists, science workers (especially biologists, physicists and pharmacists), engineers, miners, electricians, builders are also appreciated. The main problem facing emigrants is the diploma of the Russian university, which does not always enjoy a dream in the country of honor. Usually, the curriculum is compared, if our compatriot does not have enough training hours, then he is asked to finish or retake some disciplines. In Europe, there are professional associations that recognize or not the diploma of your university, as well as decide on employment or, conversely, refuse. The IT sector is a little apart, because Western companies highly quote Russian specialists and in some cases will be ready to hire even a half-educated person if he actually demonstrates his competence.

The countries of Eastern Europe and the Baltic States are also attractive for immigrants. Popular are Poland, Slovakia, Latvia, Lithuania, Montenegro. The plus of these countries is that they impose less stringent financial requirements on immigrants, and housing prices there are not so sky-high. It is also easy to move to the countries of Latin America, South-East Asia. There cheap prices for rent and purchase of housing, food. True, life in these countries is quite specific and is more suitable for those who work remotely.

First, find out if there is an immigration program in your “country”, what forms of immigration provide for local legislation (work, study, entrepreneurship), what requirements are imposed on migrants (most often this is a certain level of income), what documents must be submitted to the consulate. Pay off all debts to the state that you are going to leave. Knowledge of the language and property in the property will increase your shares in the eyes of immigration officials.

If you do not have the citizenship of the country to which you want to move, you need to first get an entry permit. Depending on the purpose, it can be a tourist, guest, study or work visa. The next step is to obtain a residence permit, this permission is needed in order to live in the territory of another country permanently. However, it is not life-long and does not mean that you have acquired citizenship. A residence permit means that you can temporarily live in the country as a guest. But in order that you could earn money in the state in which you are, in addition to the residence permit, you will have to obtain a work permit.
